- 150 grams soft butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 16 grams vanillin sugar
- 150 grams self raising flour
- 75 grams pure chocolate
- 3 medium eggs
- 2 table spoons of cacao powder
- 10 mililitres of amaretto or rum
Mix the butter, sugar and vanillin sugar until you've got yourself a light yellow mass. Add the eggs one by one and sift the flour with a knife point of salt. Keep on mixing until there is a beautiful airy dough.
Grease the baking tin with butter and pour a little flour. This prevents your cake from sticking to the tin.
Place half of your dough into the tin and divide it over the bottom.
Chop up your chocolate in little pieces and add it with the cacao powder and amaretto to your dough.
Mix the ingredients until you've got a smooth dough (with little chunks of chocolate)
Cover the vanilla dough with the chocolate dough. Bake the cake in the oven (160 degrees Celsius) for an hour and check it out every now and then. If you can put a wooden skewer into your cake and there isn't anything on the skewer when you pull it out your cake is done.
And this is the yummy end result. I made it for my mothers birthday last week and it was a big hit. Hope you liked the recipe and enjoy baking!
